Primadonna Resorts was a casino company
in Nevada. The company was the owner of three hotels along
I-15 at the California boarder. The hotels were built by the
Primm family. The families history in the area is the reason
the area received an official name, Primm.
The hotels are a popular stop on the drive
between Vegas and California. Whiskey Pete's has on display
the Bonnie and Clyde car.
History
Whiskey Pete's is the first of hotels built.
Primadonna Hotel is the second hotel built.
Whiskey Pete's and the Primadonnna are connected
by a single car monorail across I-15.
MGM Grand Inc. acquired Primadonna Resots,
in an all-stock transaction on March 1, 1999; Primadonna is
now a wholly-owned subsidiary of MGM Mirage.
Buffalo Bill's is the third hotel built.
Buffalo Bills and Whiskey Pete's are connected
by a train across I-15.
The Las Vegas Outlet Mall is added as a part
of the Primadonna Hotel.
Primadonna Hotel is renamed to Primm Valley
Resort.
