Louisiana's state approved casinos won a smidgen over $234 million from gamblers previous month. That's a great jump from the February 2007 figure of only over $212 million. A huge jump was proved by New Orleans land casino that improved its take by above $7 million. State gambling controllers were told that was because of the Mardi gras season up coming early - joint with the NBA All-Star sport in the metropolis previous month.
There are other two more casino places open than last ago - the Amelia Belle riverboat casino near Morgan City and a slit machine casino at the New Orleans Fair Grounds.
